This Refund Policy explains how refunds, cancellations, and billing issues are handled for purchases made through tinylesson.app ("tinylesson," "we," "us," or "our").

By purchasing a subscription or other paid service through tinylesson, you agree to this Refund Policy, our Terms of Service, and any applicable checkout terms presented at the time of purchase.

1. General Policy

Except as required by applicable law, all purchases are final and non-refundable.

This includes, without limitation:

  • subscription fees that have already been charged;
  • partially used billing periods;
  • unused time remaining in an active subscription;
  • dissatisfaction based on personal preference, change of mind, or lack of use of the Service.

Because tinylesson provides immediate access to AI-powered personalized learning features, generated content, and account-based services, we generally do not offer refunds once access has been granted or a billing period has begun.

2. Subscription Cancellations

You may cancel your subscription at any time before the next renewal date.

If you cancel:

  • your subscription will remain active until the end of your current paid billing period; and
  • you will not be charged again for future renewal periods unless you re-subscribe.

Canceling a subscription does not automatically entitle you to a refund for the current billing period, except where required by applicable law.

3. Automatic Renewals

Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase, subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle using your selected payment method.

It is your responsibility to manage your subscription and cancel before renewal if you do not wish to continue. If you do not cancel before the renewal charge is processed, that charge is generally non-refundable except as required by law or as otherwise determined by us in our sole discretion.

4. Exceptions

Although we generally do not offer refunds, we may review refund requests on a case-by-case basis in limited circumstances, such as:

  • duplicate charges;
  • clear billing errors;
  • unauthorized charges, subject to reasonable verification;
  • prolonged service outages or technical failures that materially prevented access to the paid Service;
  • other exceptional circumstances where a refund is required by applicable law.

Submitting a request does not guarantee that a refund will be issued.

5. Trial Offers and Promotions

If we offer a free trial, discounted trial, promotional pricing, or introductory offer, the specific terms of that offer will be disclosed at the time it is presented.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • once a free trial or promotional period ends, your subscription may automatically convert to a paid subscription; and
  • any charges incurred after the trial or promotional period are subject to this Refund Policy.

It is your responsibility to cancel before the trial or promotional period ends if you do not wish to be charged.

6. Payment Disputes

If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us at support@tinylesson.app before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute, so we can review the issue and try to resolve it.

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account where appropriate and to challenge the dispute if we believe the charge was valid.

7. How to Request a Refund Review

To request a refund review, please contact us at support@tinylesson.app and include:

  • the email address associated with your account;
  • the date of the charge;
  • the amount charged;
  • the reason for your request; and
  • any relevant supporting information.

We may request additional information to verify your identity and investigate the issue.

8. Refund Processing

If we approve a refund, it will generally be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase, unless otherwise required or permitted by law.

Refund processing times may vary depending on your payment provider or financial institution.

9. Changes to This Refund Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated version on the Service and update the "Last updated" date above.
